To be eligible for the Advanced Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, applicants must have completed their Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited residency training in general surgery, otolaryngology or plastic surgery as well as have attained qualification to take the examination offered by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology, or the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

International medical graduates with equivalent qualifications are also eligible to apply if they have passed all United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) examinations, hold a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate, and are visa eligible.
