Up to four positions are available on a competitive basis each year in the Advanced Radiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Arizona.
How to apply
Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education does not process printed applications to this program. You must apply through Recruit, a third-party application service. No matching program services are used, except for the Breast Imaging Track.
The application and all supporting documentation should be submitted at least two years preceding the program start date. Since applications are generally accepted until all positions are filled, it is to your advantage to complete the application process as soon as possible.
- Breast Imaging application deadline is December 1. If you're unable to meet this deadline, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Visit the Recruit website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials. In addition to the standard application materials, this program requires that two of your letters of recommendation be from your radiology residency program director and another faculty member. These must be completed in the Recommendation Request section of Recruit. The recommenders will receive an email with a link to upload the letters.
- Breast Imaging and Musculoskeletal Imaging tracks only: Appointments are made through the Radiology Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). For these tracks, you must register for the match in addition to applying through Recruit.
Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty.
During the application and interview process, you will be asked to specify which core fellowship track you are applying for and to identify any specific elective opportunities that are of interest.
