Program description

The one-year Vascular/Interventional Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, prepares fellows for subspecialty practice or an academic career in interventional radiology.


This fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.


Successfully completing this program meets one of the eligibility requirements for initial certification in vascular and interventional radiology offered by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).

Program history

The Vascular/Interventional Imaging Fellowship in Rochester, Minnesota, began in 1990. Since that time, 36 fellows have completed training. It is anticipated that two fellows will complete training annually.
