Overview

The Neurological Surgery Comprehensive Adult and Pediatric Spinal Deformity Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Phoenix, Arizona, represents a comprehensive surgical experience involving adult and pediatric spinal deformity. Through a collaborative approach with orthopedic surgery and neuro-interventional therapeutics, we offer a program that provides comprehensive care for patients with spinal deformity.

This 12-month program is designed to enhance clinical exposure to spine and spinal disorders in adults and children. The fellowship affords advanced training in minimally invasive, microscopic, endoscopic, and deformity surgery.

As a fellow, this program aims to provide you with a strong foundation in the delivery of care for patients with spinal pathology. The exposure and breadth of complex patients will give you the needed groundwork to foster an academic practice.

The emphasis on protected time for research will allow you to enhance your ability to be a leader in the field.

Certification

After successfully completing the program, you receive a certification of completion in Neurosurgery Comprehensive Adult and Pediatric Spinal Deformity Fellowship from Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.
