Photography

Every trainee is required to have a portrait taken for use on your Mayo Clinic identification badge. Portraits are taken at the time of hire or onboarding; every five years after your time of hire or onboarding. You're encouraged to have this done at the same time you are on campus for your occupational health assessment. If you're unable to have your photo taken before your start date, you'll have an opportunity to have this completed during your orientation.

Business formal attire must be worn for your portrait. Suit or sport coat, dress pants, button-down/up collared shirt and tie, dress, blouse or sweater. Casual clothing or fabric, such as denim is not permitted.

Mayo Clinic has photo studios at two campuses, both the Phoenix and Scottsdale campuses.

  • Phoenix campus is located at 5777 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ.
    • The studio (SSB 1-448) location is in the Support Services Building, directly south of the hospital near the Mayo Credit Union.
    • The hours are Mondays between 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    • Walk-ins are accepted.
    • If you're coming from off campus during studio hours, feel welcome to call first in case of last-minute closures: 480-342-2289 (Phoenix)
  • Scottsdale campus is located at 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ.
    • The studio location is at the main Mayo Clinic Building CO3N, concourse level (near Desk R).

*Additionally, there is a self-service photo booth both on Phoenix and Scottsdale campuses. The photo booth is touchscreen and offers a tutorial to walk you through every step of capturing your photo. It is open 24/7 so you can stop by at your convenience.
