Overview

Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Association is a collegial group of nurses who graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing and, later, the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing.

Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Association is a collegial group of nurses who graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing and, later, the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing.

During the 52 years of the school (1922-1970), there were 3,827 graduates.

In the years of World War II, 407 students of the Kahler School of Nursing participated in the Cadet Nurse Program.

The elected board of the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Association meets four times a year, with an annual meeting and group reunion held each September. A newsletter, "Drawsheet," is published twice yearly.

The permanent records of all graduates are now filed in the Mayo Clinic Records Management Unit, North Warehouse, in Rochester, Minnesota.
