Locations

Mayo Clinic Health System sites are located in southern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa, and western Wisconsin. Each site works to best meet the unique needs of the community it serves. Facilities range from large regional medical centers with hospitals to rural primary care clinics.

While Rochester, Minnesota, is home to the majority of Mayo Clinic’s medical and scientific educational programs, residency-level training opportunities also exist at Mayo Clinic Health System sites. The experience gained through these residencies and clinic rotation programs helps prepare physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other professionals to bring Mayo Clinic-quality care to the local communities where they choose to establish their medical careers.

Additionally, Mayo Clinic Health System offers clinical rotations for many health sciences programs, giving students an opportunity to understand and appreciate the unique features of the community practice.
