The Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Fund was established to maintain an ongoing legacy of the high standard of nursing the school represents — and to preserve, uphold and support professional nursing.

Memorial or tribute gifts

Gifts in memory of a loved one (deceased) or gifts made in honor of someone (living) may be designated to the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Please specify your wishes at the time the gift is made. For example, your check may be sent with a note that states: "Gift in memory of Mrs. Jane Doe for the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Fund."

Estate gifts

Working through your estate lawyer or financial planner, this language may be used in your will:

"I give to Mayo Clinic, a charitable corporation located in Rochester, Minnesota, the sum of $_____ (or ____ percent of my estate) to be used for the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Fund. Should the fund no longer exist, the gift shall be used in a manner as close as possible to the original expressed intent."
