Each year, students graduating from Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine select faculty members to receive Teacher of the Year Awards. These awards acknowledge outstanding contributions to medical education at Mayo Clinic.

The Teacher of the Year Award recipients in Arizona are Nitin Mishra, M.B.B.S., Colon and Rectal Surgery, and Mira Keddis, M.D., Nephrology.
Third- and fourth-year students in Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine select residents and fellows each year for the Golden Stethoscope Award.
