Overview
Mayo Clinc School of Health Sciences offers a 12-month postgraduate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Fellowship in Family Medicine. The program trains highly-qualified nurse practitioners (APRN) and physician assistants (PA) to provide advanced comprehensive care in the outpatient setting.
Program highlights
Our curriculum contains didactic education and mentored clinical experiences in three outpatient clinic settings delivering care to a wide range of patients over the lifespan.
Upon completion of this structured training, a fellow will be able to deliver high-level clinical judgment in a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
Postgraduate family medicine experience and training increases opportunities for hire and advancement in a competitive job market.
Completion and certification
After successfully completing this fellowship, you will receive a certificate of completion from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, part of Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. This certificate specifically states that the graduate fellow has received postgraduate training in family medicine.
