The Mayo Clinic Microsurgery Training Center is one of the few centers in the world providing microsurgical training that covers the spectrum of beginner techniques to more advanced training in microsurgery. The Training Center hosts four dual-surgeon microsurgery stations and provides expert instruction through regular weekly programs.

Courses are designed to provide extensive, individualized training in microvascular surgical techniques for practicing surgeons as well as residents and fellows in surgery programs. Physician’s assistants, surgical first assistants, and research personnel have also taken advantage of the course offerings to become familiarized with microsurgical procedures.

The center is staffed with two instructors who have a combined 35+ years of experience in microsurgery and have done over 10,000 anastomoses with a variety of surgeons from around the world.
The Training Center's most popular course is a five-day program focused on skill development in the use of microvascular surgical techniques.
Limited to four attendees per session, the course incorporates comprehensive videos, demonstrations, microvascular skills practice, and detailed handouts.

The registration fee for the five-day course is $2,000 and includes tuition and training materials. The course fee does not include hotel or meal costs.
