Why Mayo: I was blown away when I interviewed by the genuine care that each staff member had in education, and this has been exactly the same since I arrived. The support and resources such as the anatomy labs are amazing. And Rochester is a great place, especially with a family. I feel incredibly fortunate every day.

Why Mayo: Prior to coming for fellowship, I chose Mayo Clinic because of the unparalleled exposure to complex primary and revision shoulder and elbow reconstructive procedures. The fellowship is unique in that it truly provides a comprehensive experience in the treatment of elbow pathology. Reflecting back on the experience, while I feel exceptionally well trained, I am forever grateful for the mentorship provided by the faculty. Their time and dedication to my development not only as a surgeon, but a teacher, researcher, and father is something I will always cherish. The fellowship truly embodies the foundational principle of Mayo Clinic — "The needs of the patient come first."
