Meet The Faculty

Experts in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic provide comprehensive consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for patients with illnesses that affect the lungs and breathing.

The establishment of the Mayo Clinic William J. von Liebig Center for Transplantation and Clinical Regeneration has been a milestone in transplantation at Mayo Clinic. The consolidation of all transplant programs (liver, kidney, pancreas, islet cell, heart, lung, bone marrow) into the Transplant Center has permitted unprecedented multidisciplinary cooperation and integrated care, further enabling us to improve the health and lives of our patients.

From the program director

Cassie Kennedy, M.D.Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Our program is committed to training academic transplant pulmonologists. Our lung transplant program is known nationally and internationally as a center of excellence and innovation.

During your fellowship, you will learn and practice in a state-of-the-art clinical environment where the needs of the patient come first. You will work daily with transplant pulmonologists and transplant surgeons whose interests and expertise embrace all areas of lung transplant. As an advanced fellow, you will be an integral member of the transplant team. Your time at Mayo Clinic will include meaningful research and teaching experiences along with high-quality clinical education.

We invite you to learn more about our program and look forward to speaking with you.
