Department and Faculty
The Division of Neurology at Nemours is composed of seven M.D./D.O.s, and three ARNPs. Nemours faculty members actively interact and collaborate with their colleagues at Mayo Clinic to enhance the educational experience.
All faculty members actively participate in resident training. You can work with more than 100 pediatric faculty members at Nemours and Wolfson Children's Hospital, as well as the faculty members at Mayo Clinic.
From the program director
Our Mayo Clinic Child and Adolescent Neurology Residency program in Jacksonville, Florida, aims to train outstanding well-rounded clinical and academic pediatric neurologists who provide patient-centered care and address the unique needs of each patient and their family.
Opportunities in leadership, education, and research are encouraged. We have a strong belief in graduated resident responsibility, with many opportunities to teach and do research. You will grow professionally in an environment with neurology faculty who provide outstanding patient care to a diverse population of patients with common and rare neurological disorders.

Faculty
The Adult Neurology Residency faculty at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, is composed of specialists who are committed to patient care, education and research in their daily practices. Many faculty members have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their field. You have direct access to these individuals throughout your training.
Each of the 43 faculty members in the Department of Neurology belongs to a group of neurological subspecialists who supply unique clinical and research services to patients and colleagues. These subspecialty groups are integrated cross-campus with consultants at Mayo's practices in Florida, Minnesota and Arizona.
Advisers and mentors
You are assigned a dedicated faculty adviser who can provide comprehensive educational advice and personal support. Trainees meet with their advisers periodically throughout the program to review their progress and career goals and ensure that their educational needs are being met. Advisers serve also as a contact point for introducing you and your family to Jacksonville, Nemours and the Mayo Clinic system.
Visiting professors
Many prominent professors visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work during lectures, participate in hospital rounds, and have informal discussions with trainees. You are encouraged to take full advantage of these educational opportunities.
