Curriculum and Speakers
The Mayo Clinic Fellow Leadership Academy features a carefully curated faculty of nationally recognized leaders who bring real-world expertise directly to participants. Our instructors are selected for their mastery of specific leadership domains and their ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.
Program structure
The curriculum consists of four full-day sessions held between September and May of each academic year. Each session includes:
- Two-to-three hours of focused content on core leadership topics
- Interactive exercises designed to practice and apply specific skill sets
- Nationally recognized leaders with a Q&A component
Invited leaders
Each day features a distinguished national leader who shares insights from their personal leadership journey. These sessions provide participants with close access to C-suite executives, academic leaders, and healthcare innovators. Each presentation concludes with an extended Q&A session, allowing fellows to engage directly with speakers on topics most relevant to their career development.
