Meet Our Fellows

The Mammography/Women's Imaging Fellowship draws trainees from across the U.S. and around the world. While all our trainees have a love of learning and a compassionate approach to patient care, they come from diverse backgrounds, family status, and professional and personal interests.

Madison Breiland, M.D.

Medical school: Medical College of Wisconsin
Residency: Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, MN
About me: I love outdoor activities all year round, whether that is hiking and kayaking in the summer or ice skating and downhill skiing in the winter!
Why Mayo? Training at Mayo Clinic offers a resident the ability to see high-volume cases with a wealth of complex pathology, as well as the opportunity to work with staff who are experts in their field of sub-specialization. I know going forward that I will be well prepared to practice in any setting and with any subspecialty that I choose.

Stephane Chartier, D.O.

Hometown: Rochester, MN
Residency: The University of Arizona, Tucson AZ
About me: Born and raised in Rochester, I am excited to be back after 15 years in Arizona to pursue a career in breast imaging. Outside of radiology, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three cats, traveling, trying new recipes, reading, and running/weightlifting.
Why Mayo: Above all, I chose Mayo because its top-to-bottom commitment to patient-centered care. Mayo is also second to none when it comes to efficiency and fostering a collaborative work environment. Finally, Mayo provides the opportunity to learn from many breast imagers (often at a 1:1 ratio), which is vital in making the most of your final year in training.

Preet Dhillon, M.D.

Hometown: Huntley, IL
Medical school: University of Illinois College of Medicine
Residency: Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, MN
About me: I greatly enjoy playing the clarinet and reading historical fiction in my spare time.
Why Mayo? I believe the variety of pathology at this institution is unparalleled.
