Application Process
Positions
There are two positions available on a competitive basis each year in the Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for the Neurocritical Care Fellowship must have documentation of:
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited neurology, neurological surgery, emergency medicine, or internal medicine residency within the United States or Canada
- Board eligibility or certification by their respective boards
- A license to practice medicine in Florida by the time the fellowship begins
In addition, fellowship candidates are assessed based on medical school, residency, and United States Medical Licensing Examination and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification performance.

How to apply
You must apply through the Centralized Application Service, part of SF Match.
The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by March 1 of the year preceding the program start date. The academic year begins in early July.
- To apply to the program, follow the instructions on the SF Match website for the Neurocritical Care Fellowship Match.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted February through May each year.
