Meet The Faculty

Urogynecology physicians gather for a group photo to commemorate the 2023 Raymond A. Lee Lectureship.

From the program director

Thank you for your interest in our Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. We offer a comprehensive approach to the care of women with complex pelvic floor disorders, and use a variety of approaches for surgical correction of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Our one-on-one surgical apprenticeship model is unique and offers extended periods of time with a single surgical mentor.

Surgical training encompasses on vaginal, endoscopic, and abdominal approaches for the treatment of women with complex pelvic floor disorders. During the 12 months of protected research time, fellows have dedicated research mentorship, statistical support, and opportunities to participate in multiple research projects. As a fellow, you also have the option to obtain a master’s degree in biomedical sciences during the fellowship.

Our fellowship offers a team approach to patient care, a knowledgeable, enthusiastic teaching staff, and a diverse patient population. Following completion, our fellows have the knowledge and skills to begin a successful career in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
