Application Process

Positions

One position is available on a competitive basis each year in the Vascular Neurology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the Vascular Neurology Fellowship, applicants must have successfully completed an accredited residency program in neurology or physical medicine in the United States.

How to apply

You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). One position is offered in the Vascular Neurology Fellowship.

The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Nov. 15 of the year preceding the program date. The academic year begins in July.

  1. To apply to the program, visit the ERAS website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
  2. Appointments are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). You must register through the NRMP website in addition to applying through ERAS.
  3. Personal interviews with the program director and selected faculty are by invitation only and are based on the applicant's academic performance, United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) scores, letters of recommendation, and other accomplishments as detailed in the ERAS application. Interviews are conducted on selected dates from January through March. If selected for an interview, applicants will be notified by email. We're unable to provide applicants with a status report regarding their application or selection for interview.
