Learn more about Match Day on March 17, 2023. Discover the day's significance for our medical students and learn more about the specifics of the event, including livestream links.
Match Week begins on Monday, March 13, but it isn't until Match Day, Friday, March 17, that graduating medical students discover where they will move on to residencies for the next three to seven years.
Match Day, led by National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), is when the organization releases results to applicants seeking residency and fellowship training positions in the United States. At exactly 12 p.m. ET, graduating medical students at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and at medical schools across the nation will open envelopes to learn these results and see where they have matched.
