Mayo International Health Program scholarships help residents and fellows pursue elective rotations to learn from and assist in providing medical care to international locations where community resources are limited.

Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education and Mayo Fellow's Association have announced the recent recipients of Mayo International Health Program scholarships. The scholarships are used to support residents and fellows who pursue elective rotations to learn from and assist in providing medical care to international locations where community resources are limited. The scholarships help defray travel and living expenses.

To date, Mayo residents and fellows have completed 556 trips to 64 countries, including 187 separate sites. These trips have resulted in care at no cost to more than 118,900 patients worldwide.
