Stipend

The fellowship provides a stipend of $81,000 that is paid to you in biweekly installments. There are no tuition fees.

Mayo Clinic is committed to NP/PA Post Graduate Fellowship Programs and their fellows. For fellows who pursue a career at Mayo Clinic following fellowship completion, starting salary will be adjusted to reflect months of service during the training period.

This position is eligible for Mayo Clinic's benefit package.

Funds will also be provided for furthering education.

Vacation, holiday and sick leave

Fellows are allotted 18 total days of paid time off for personal vacation (including professional interviews), holidays, and sick leave. Mayo Clinic recognizes six major holidays each year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Fellows may be required to staff scheduled holidays, evenings, and weekends. A staffed holiday is not counted against the fellow’s allotment of 18 total days of paid time off.

Living expenses

Living expenses such as transportation, housing, and meals are the responsibility of the fellow. The program does not offer any housing or scholarship assistance.
