Virtual Program Update

Applications for the virtual program are now closed.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting an academic year, virtual program beginning this fall. The program welcomes all applicants who are Arizona high school students, in Grades 9-12. Students from historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. No prior experience necessary.

• Saturday, September 27, 2025
• Time: 8am-12pm (via Zoom)
• In addition, the program will offer life skills and career coaching/mentorship sessions, virtually, over the 2025-2026 academic year.

Application process

In-Person Program

Applications for the in-person, summer program closed on Feb. 1, 2025. Selection notifications for this program were sent to applicants mid-March. 

Virtual Program

Applications for the virtual program closed on May 31, 2025. Selection notifications for this program will be sent to applicants in August.

Tuition and fees

There is no cost to participate. This is Mayo Clinic’s service to our community. 

Students selected to participate in the in-person program will receive a stipend for their full participation. If students miss program days, funds will be deducted from their stipend.
