The Department of Radiology is fully integrated with all of the medical services available at Mayo Clinic. More than 60 radiologists and five physicists cooperate with hundreds of support staff to provide diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services to patients. 

Experts in all areas of radiology consult with specialists in other departments to provide the best care to every patient every day, consistent with Mayo's mission. Radiologists work with state-of-the-art equipment, assisted by skilled technologists and nurses, to perform and interpret more than 320,000 examinations yearly. This large number of cases, integrated with ongoing research and education, results in wide-ranging expertise in the imaging and treatment of diseases affecting patients of all ages.

Welcome to the Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida.

This fellowship is designed to provide a comprehensive mix of state-of-the-art cardiac and thoracic imaging, as well as provide exposure to unique research opportunities in the field. Highlighted in the clinical experiences are the joint read-out sessions for cardiac CT and MR between our radiologists and dedicated fellowship-trained cardiac imaging cardiologists, as well as multi-specialty practices in both cardiac imaging and thoracic imaging in disciplines including structural heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, CTEPH, interstitial lung disease, and lung cancer screening and treatment.

Our fellowship offers the opportunity to interact with and learn from leaders in the field of cardiothoracic imaging.
