Meet Our Residents
Our residents and faculty foster a collegial environment and education-focused culture that provides an inclusive learning experience. Training can be challenging, but our program is close-knit and each resident brings a dedication to providing stellar patient care as well as a collaborative learning experience.
One of the main things that drew me to this program is the unique, well-rounded curriculum that provides the opportunity to serve your patients as their primary dermatologist with hands on experience from day one. I have the autonomy to challenge myself, gain confidence as a dermatologist, and develop key skills integral to real life practice while also benefitting from the consistent support of the engaged faculty.

I was really excited about the amount of hands-on experience you get in the Dermatology Residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, starting from day one. I also got the sense during my interview that mentorship was taken very seriously at Mayo. I felt like the attendings and residents I met on my interview day worked together cohesively and genuinely wanted to help each other succeed. The built-in preliminary year is also a great way to start developing a local community early on!
