Meet The Faculty

The Department of Urology provides the best possible care, including consultation, diagnosis, and treatment, to male and female patients with all malignant and benign urologic diseases in both pediatric and adult age groups. At Mayo Clinic's campus in Arizona, the Department of Urology consists of nine urologic surgeons and two office urologists.

As an integrated practice, the Department of Urology is supported by many laboratories, subspecialty clinics, preventive health programs, basic and clinical research programs, and by continuing education programs. Mayo Clinic urologists are able to offer patients the latest in new diagnostic techniques, drugs, and interventions.

Faculty

In addition to caring for patients in clinical practice, Mayo Clinic's faculty is committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. Many of our faculty members have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their fields. You work closely with these individuals throughout your training in the Urology Residency.

Visiting professors

Prominent adult and pediatric urologists visit Mayo Clinic each year. They present their work during lectures, participate in hospital rounds, and have informal discussions with trainees. You are encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
