Meet Our Fellows

Our fellows and faculty foster a collegial environment and education-focused culture that provides an inclusive learning experience. Training can be challenging, but our program is close-knit and each fellow brings a dedication to providing stellar patient care as well as a collaborative learning experience. About me: I inherited a love of baking from my grandmothers, who taught me everything I know about making the perfect dessert for any occasion. I also enjoy taking walks outside, which provides the opportunity to listen to music and appreciate the beauty of Jacksonville.

About me: I enjoy spending time running outdoors and going on long walks with my wife and our Goldendoodle. We also love traveling and try to visit a new city at least a couple of times per year. Music is an important part of my life, and when I have the time (and space) I play bagpipes, guitar, and saxophone.

About me: It is true that at Mayo Clinic the needs of the patient trully do come first. It has been one of my life's greatest honors to serve our patients as an internal medicine resident, chief medical resident, and now as a gastroenterology and hepatology fellow. I'm excited to deepen my investment in our patients clinically, in research, and as an educator. Quality improvement and patient safety are key components of my medical career and institutional focus. Outside of work, I enjoy time spent with my family, the outdoors, biking, and hydroponic/aquaponic gardening.

About me: Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my wife and our 4-year-old son - we love playing games, swimming, and exploring hiking trails together. I'm also an enthusiastic soccer player, and I enjoy traveling to new places and tasking local cuisines whenever I can.

Mayo Fellows Association (MFA)

The Mayo Fellows Association (MFA) offers a peer and social support network for residents and fellows and their families with social events, athletics, and advocacy. The MFA also holds an annual resident and fellow appreciation event open to all trainees with complimentary massages, stress-reducing activities, and social support.
