The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is part of a growing, internationally-recognized academic medical center set in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. The Division of Anatomic Pathology has 21 pathologists, with specialty expertise covering the entire field of surgical pathology. The division is organized around groups dedicated to specific organ systems, but all members contribute to general areas, such as frozen section service, autopsy, and cytology. The division is supported by a full-service histology and immunohistochemistry laboratory. Most molecular testing is performed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, with whom we partner closely.
