Department and Faculty

The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is a highly integrated, collaborative department of neurologists who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and research of conditions and diseases affecting the nervous system. Close collaboration with other Mayo Clinic specialists offers patients comprehensive care.

The department has a number of specialty clinics staffed by professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by neurologic diseases. Neurologists are also engaged in research projects involving their areas of interest, including new and investigational drugs.

The Headache Clinic at Mayo Clinic Arizona offers patients a wide array of services, provided by an expert staff of neurologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists in the pain clinic, psychiatrists and physical therapists dedicated to the latest treatment options and research.

The clinic provides complete outpatient care in the diagnosis and comprehensive medical and surgical management of primary and secondary headache disorders. To assist in treatment, the Headache Clinic uses both standard and investigational drugs, a full range of diagnostic services, the latest brain imaging techniques, neuropsychological evaluations and community education.
