The Hospital Medicine Fellowship is within the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine. 

Faculty 

Faculty members at Mayo Clinic actively participate in education. All faculty members hold academic rank within Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Each faculty member has developed a unique focus and expertise across different aspects of hospital medicine that provides the fellow with a broad range of opportunities for personal career growth. 

This dynamic group is dedicated to the growth and development of hospital medicine both locally and nationally. Members of the faculty hold key leadership positions in the Society of Hospital Medicine at the regional and national levels.

 Mentorship team

Each hospital medicine fellow has access to a mentorship team that consists of a primary project mentor, secondary academic mentor(s), career mentor, and clinical advisor(s).  Two associate program directors and former graduates of Hospital Medicine Fellowship Programs are at the core of the Fellowship Team.

 Academic offerings

Hospital Medicine Fellows have access to lectures from the internal medicine residency in the traditional structure of morning reports and noon conferences where they will be exposed to world-class expertise from our subspecialty faculty. They will also have access to the department of medicine medical grand rounds, Enterprise HIM grand rounds and HIM core lecture series by other members of the Division.
