Overview
The one-year Medical Dermatology Fellowship on Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, Minnesota, offers multiple subspecialty clinics including hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) Clinic in collaboration with dermatology surgery, psoriasis clinic, erythromelalgia clinic, oral disease, vulvar dermatology (in collaboration with gynecology) and contact dermatitis or patch test clinic. You will have the ability to select to be involved in the subspecialty clinics within their area of interest.
A wide range of research experiences are available and will be tailored to your interests. Possibilities will include retrospective studies, prospective studies, and clinical trials. Mayo Clinic’s resources include large databases and retrieval tools that allow the completion of comprehensive projects based on our exceptionally well-archived medical records. Opportunities for presentation at annual meetings are encouraged such as the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) or Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) with the hopes of presenting their research at that time.
