It is a big honor to be selected for Mood Fellowship at Mayo Clinic and to do research in the field of mood disorders. Mayo Clinic has an innovative learning culture that gives the golden opportunity to work with the best physicians and researchers in the world. My research focus areas are mood disorders psychopharmacology, pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, neuromodulation, and therapeutic outcomes. According to me and my family, Rochester is a great place to live! I spend my free time hanging out with friends, attending live music, and exploring new places. Overall, I am fascinated by Mayo’s history and values, and it pushes me to carry forward my dreams into reality to be a learned psychiatrist.

I came to Mayo Clinic to continue my training with faculty who put the needs of the patient first. The values that Mayo Clinic is built upon, which cultivate an environment of collaboration and foster ethical thinking, align with my own principles and ideals. My research interests include mood disorders, translational research, and individualized medicine in psychiatry. I am passionate about patient education, shared decision-making, and cultural competence in psychiatry. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, tinkering with computers, and spending time with my family.

I came to Mayo Clinic for world class training in Mood Disorders. The willingness of professors to share their knowledge and help develop research projects has provided me a unique opportunity to keep growing as a psychiatrist. I'm interested in the influence of gene-environment interactions on the pathophysiology of mood disorders, pharmacogenomics, psychotherapy, global mental health, and epidemiology of mental disorders. Moving to Rochester has been a great adventure and I really enjoy the sense of community in the city. I’m still discovering Rochester, but so far, one of my favorite activities is trying the best cheeseburgers in town!
