The Mayo Clinic Arizona’s MSK fellowship has thus far been a great place to train. The faculty are knowledgeable and eager to share their expertise in a collegial and supportive environment. As fellows, we also have the opportunity to participate in interdepartmental conferences and other departmental learning experiences that allow us to appreciate the subspecialists’ perspectives and better understand the clinical context of the studies we interpret. The combination of dedicated teaching, diverse pathology, and close interaction with our colleagues has made this an ideal environment to grow both as a radiologist and as members of the broader clinical team.

Although I spent my entire life on the East Coast, I decided to move cross country to train at Mayo Clinic for residency given its reputation for exceptional training. I could not be happier with my decision and decided to stay on for MSK fellowship to continue my professional growth. The renowned faculty are dedicated to fostering the professional growth of trainees and are genuinely invested in our success. The high faculty-to-trainee ratio and the unique complexity of cases provide a comprehensive training experience, enhancing our skills in both interpreting studies and performing procedures. My colleagues foster a supportive community that makes each day enjoyable and fun. I am grateful for the opportunity to train at a program where I can enjoy work while gaining the skills and confidence to excel in my future career.
