What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? It may sound unreal or cliché, but I am amazed by the practical implementation of Mayo Clinic's core values, which are deeply embedded in our program. Learning the best evidence-based patient care with one of the leading faculties in the field of nephrology is truly an honor. Working in a referral and tertiary care center gives opportunity to witness a wide range of renal pathology. The working environment is second to none and is based upon mutual respect, approachability, access to all the resources, and personalized mentoring to assure fellows' wellness and best possible training. I can firmly say that doing a Nephrology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, was the best decision of my career.

What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? Mayo Clinic is an ideal place for my training because we share a similar philosophy for patient care. The patient's needs must be prioritized in mind, body, and spirit. Furthermore, it is essential to encourage patients to participate in the decision-making process of their healthcare. I feel that this approach to patient care is, indeed, practiced here at Mayo Clinic. I am encouraged as a provider and trainee to educate my patients and listen thoroughly to their needs in order to give the best care. My experience thus far has included patient care excellence and incredible teachers who will contribute to my personal practice and growth.

What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? I chose Mayo Clinic for my fellowship training because I knew the environment was centered on the patient, and their approach to medical care was in line with my clinical approach to practice. I knew that I wanted to be exposed to a wide variety of pathology to prepare myself for independent practice. As a quaternary center, we as trainees see a myriad of disease states that most can only read about in the literature. The other selling point for me was the department faculty, here at Mayo Clinic we have the privilege to learn from giants in the field of nephrology. With that being said, all of these attributes tied into the beautiful Florida landscape made Mayo Clinic the ideal place for me to continue my medical education.

What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? Mayo Clinic has provided me with the opportunity to learn from some of the leading experts in nephrology in an environment that fosters curiosity, research, and innovation. The fellowship program itself is designed to be flexible and can be customized to meet individual career goals. I was particularly drawn to Mayo Clinic due to the high complexity of renal pathology we are exposed to during training, in addition to the focus on patient-centered care. The faculty at Mayo Clinic are dedicated to providing the best possible training to their fellows. They understand that fellowship is an exciting time of personal and professional growth and are eager to provide mentorship.
