2017-2019 Neuro-Oncology Fellow

“I remain grateful for my two-year research and clinical training fellowship in neuro-oncology at Mayo Clinic. During this time, I was able to develop excellent clinical skills and a strong knowledge base in neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, and hematology/oncology, as it pertains to the management of brain tumor patients, through a variety of rotations and lectures. In addition, I launched my research career with the support of my excellent mentors, Dr. Maciej Mrugala and Dr. Alyx Porter. I participated in a variety of research projects, including initiating and completing my own early phase trial. The training I received here opened many doors for me, provided many opportunities, and helped me create my own space as a junior faculty in the field.”
