What drew you to our program? There are many reasons why I was drawn to this program. The commitment to teaching and mentorship by skilled renal pathologists fosters a supportive learning environment in a high-volume setting. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, offering extensive exposure to in-house and referral cases. Weekly conferences reinforce learned concepts, providing an opportunity to teach and engage in discussions of complex cases with members of the nephrology and hypertension teams. The program also offers extensive research opportunities, from basic to clinical, with strong encouragement to participate in conferences. Ultimately, the three shields of Mayo Clinic's patient care, education, and research served as the foundation of this program.

What are you most excited about experiencing during your fellowship? I’ve had a long-standing interest in the kidney, and I’m most excited to finally study and explore the diverse range of cases in renal pathology. Having completed most phases of my training at Mayo, I’m confident in an exceptional experience.
