How has your experience been in this program?

My training experience here at Mayo Clinic is the most rewarding professional investment I ever made. There is nothing any enthusiastic prospective fellow could wish to find in a training program that Mayo Clinic could not offer! I am so impressed that my learning curve is steep and everyday bring renewable intellectual challenge and excitement with strong support from mentors to guide me to success. The complexity of cases, collegiality of the faculty, friendly environment to all learners, and the world-class clinical expertise are all assets in the training program.

What stood out to you about this program?

Mayo Clinic Rochester Renal Transplant Fellowship Program has given me the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with world-renowned kidney and pancreas transplant physicians. This high-quality educational experience in managing highly sensitized candidates paves a pathway to a successful transplant outcome and affords me the opportunity to learn their practices. Because of the close longitudinal patient follow up, I learned to be vigilant, monitor, and manage recurrent glomerular disease; this has helped fulfill my passion for studying recurrent glomerular disease in the kidney transplant population.
