There are two positions available on a competitive basis each year in the Transfusion Medicine Fellowship.

Qualifications

To apply for the Transfusion Medicine Fellowship, you must be a physician who has American citizenship or holds a valid U.S. visa.

You must fulfill the subspecialty certification requirements for the blood banking/transfusion medicine board examination offered by the American Board of Pathology (ABP). This includes having primary certification from the ABP or current primary specialty certification with another American Board of Medical Specialties board.
