Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will host virtual information sessions from now through April for prospective students interested in pursuing a career in the biomedical sciences.

The past year has proven to be a new era in connecting with prospective students. The recruitment team at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences has scheduled a series of virtual information sessions designed to give interested students the opportunity to learn more about the Ph.D. tracks offered at Mayo Clinic.

As part of the Spring Information Sessions, Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will offer three types of sessions:

  • Information sessions. These sessions present an overview of Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, financial aid information and helpful resources. The sessions are geared toward those who are in college, have a degree, are considering a career change, or are nontraditional students and interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in biomedical science. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
  • Inside Look sessions. Two Ph.D. tracks will participate in each Inside Look session, which will be presented by program directors or faculty. These sessions give participants an inside look at the track and provide program-specific details. These sessions are suitable for students already interested in a particular research track who would like more information.
  • Q&A with current students. These sessions allow participants to ask questions of students who are currently enrolled in Ph.D. programs.

Sessions are open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the biomedical sciences. Sessions will be held from now through April, and registration is required.

To learn more about the virtual information sessions and to register, visit the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences virtual events page. If you have questions or would like an e-flyer, contact Ashya Burgess, admissions recruiter.
