Edith Ford, PharmD
Hometown: Brunswick, GA
Pharmacy school: University of Georgia
Previous residency: Mayo Clinic in Arizona
About me: I worked as a radiologic technologist for five years after my bachelor's in radiography and decided to change careers to pharmacy after working as a pharmacy specialist in the military. I like snacks, cats, and learning new pharmacy pearls.
Why Mayo Clinic? While I was in pharmacy school, my father was a patient at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He was so impressed by his care that he called me and demanded I consider Mayo Clinic for residency. My father is a hard man to impress. I also had an interest in solid organ transplant and oncology, so Mayo Clinic was perfect for my professional interests.
