The transplant fellowship at Mayo Clinic AZ is a unique experience that offers fellows exposure to high-volume cases in liver, pancreas, and kidney transplantation combined with a world-class clinical experience. Fellows training here will have the opportunity to take ownership of the patients whether on rounds, in the operating room, at selection, or during organ offers. Fellows will be trained in robotic-assisted laparoscopic procedures with exposure to the TransMedics OCSTM and NRP.

This program provides a transplant model unique in merging aggressiveness in organ selection with high quality of care. In a period of organ shortage, this fellowship trained me how to consider and utilize all available allografts, helping patients in need while contributing to my current program expansion. Staffed by top-ranking surgeons in transplant science and education, Mayo Clinic in Arizona is what I think of as the top abdominal transplant fellowship program in the United States.
