What attracted you to Mayo Clinic?

Mayo Clinic is a world-renown institution that provides exposure to a diverse global patient population, high-volume of surgeries, and training from experts in the field. Mayo Clinic has a reputation for excellence, and I knew that by doing my fellowship here, I would become a well-rounded transplant surgeon.

What has been most rewarding about your training so far?

The huge surgery volume together with high level of independence given to the fellows by the staff provide a daily sense of satisfaction. Being able to go for organ procurements independently after only a month and a half in fellowship has been most rewarding.
