The Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology Fellowship offers two fellowship positions each year on a competitive basis. Meet our current fellows.

Dental education: Texas A&M University College of Dentistry (Baylor College of Dentistry) in Dallas, TX (2013), General Practice Residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA (2014), University of California Los Angeles Advanced Prosthodontics Residency in Los Angeles, CA (2019)

Hometown: McAllen, TX

Hobbies: Travel, eating/cooking, reading, hiking, and yoga

Favorite thing in Rochester: Not sitting in LA traffic and also eating jerk chicken at Thursdays on First

Why Mayo: Patient focused care and attitudes and an emphasis on resident/fellow learning and experience

Future plans: Split my time between private prosthodontics practice/hospital setting caring for patients with maxillofacial prosthetic needs

Dental education: DDS: UNC (Chapel Hill, NC); Advanced Prosthodontics Program and MDS: University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis, TN)  

Hometown: Charlotte, NC

Hobbies: Spending time with family, friends, and my dog, Cooper!

Favorite thing in Rochester: The summer weather, running, and biking trails!

Why Mayo: The people, excellent hands-on training, and philosophy of always putting the patient first. 

Future plans: Maxillofacial prosthodontics in a hospital setting.
