Application Process

Positions

There are three PGY-5 positions available each year in the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship, you must be eligible to sit for the certifying exam or already certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.

You also must have completed three years of dermatology training in a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

How to apply

Register and apply through San Francisco Match (SF Match), a third-party application service.

The application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted through San Francisco Match by Aug.1 of the year prior to the appointment date. The academic year begins in the first week of July.

  1. To apply to the program, visit the SF Match website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
  2. Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited for a personal interview with the program director and core faculty. Interviews are usually conducted between September and November each year.
