Minjun Hur, M.D.Class year: 2024 The Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship program offers a distinctive and enriching experience marked by several strengths. The number one reason I chose this program is the faculty. All of them are exceptional, inspiring, and committed to teaching and mentorship. They carry unparalleled knowledge and wisdom, but they are also approachable and friendly. Another strength of the program is the complexity and diversity of clinical cases, as well as the interdisciplinary approach to patient encounters. I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity to be trained at Mayo. |

Negar Moheb, M.D.Class year: 2023 As a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellow, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The dynamic learning environment offered unparalleled mentorship and exposure to intricate patient pathologies as well as unique sub-specialized clinics. The program bolstered my clinical acumen and my ability to approach multifaceted cases with confidence. Francisco Moreno Sanchez, M.D.Class year: 2021 Even during a time of uncertainty, the year spent during the Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic was always valuable and full of continuous learning. To be able to interact with world-class mentors, ophthalmology residents, ophthalmology colleagues, and neurology colleagues who constituted a constant flow of knowledge and experience promptly and always directed toward the care of patients of such different backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life is something that will hardly be found in no more than a few places around the world. This combination and the always-present support of assistants, orthoptists, technicians, schedulers, and coordinators made me focus on my professional development and commit and contribute to the development of a new generation of ophthalmology residents and medical students with a particular interest in my field. |
