My time as a fellow at Mayo Clinic shaped the foundation of my career. As I returned home to Oklahoma to start my own practice, I realized I had been given a level of preparation I couldn’t have found anywhere else. The faculty, the guidance, and the incredible patient experiences made all the difference.

2021 graduate
Speciality: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Training at Mayo provided me with a strong skill set to not only perform the procedures that I was taught in training, but to comfortably adapt new procedures into my offerings for patients. I have patients seek me out because of my training at Mayo, and that name recognition offers a sense of confidence to the patients to entrust me with their care. As a pain medicine provider, confidence in one's skill set is pivotal to provide care in a forward-thinking, ethical, and compassionate way. I can confidently say that training at Mayo gave me the confidence to be the best physician I can be.

2025 graduate
Speciality: Anesthesiology

My fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic was truly transformative. The mentorship, clinical breadth, and collaborative environment provided unparalleled opportunities for growth and the ability to truly excel in interventional pain, both professionally and personally. The hands-on exposure to procedures, surgical techniques, and comprehensive medical management was second to none, offering an exceptional foundation for independent practice. What stood out most was the spirit of teamwork, a dedicated department committed to our education and well-being, and the genuine focus on patient centered care that defines Mayo. Living in Rochester was also a wonderful experience. It provided a supportive community, regular area centered events, majestic scenery, and a quality of life that made training here deeply rewarding and easy.
