Meet The Faculty
Mayo Clinic's Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine includes more than 200 pediatric and adolescent physicians specializing in more than 40 areas and providing care ranging from routine checkups to complex surgical procedures.
Annually, Mayo Clinic treats more than 50,000 children and adolescents, including about 5,000 hospital patients. Mayo Clinic pediatric and adolescent surgeons perform more than 8,000 procedures each year.
Faculty
All faculty members for the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship have academic appointments in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science as well as joint appointments in both pediatric and adult endocrinology. Faculty members teach and supervise medical students and pediatric residents at Mayo Clinic and work closely with the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, Diabetes, and Nutrition.
There are six pediatric endocrinologists in Mayo Clinic's Division of Pediatric Endocrinology:

Highlights of our fellowship include:

Our Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship is a fully funded three-year program designed to provide clinical, research, and teaching experiences that enable you to follow your chosen career path.
We are also fortunate to have close ties with over 40 adult endocrinologists working at Mayo as well as an Endocrine Research Unit with opportunities to work with cutting-edge researchers.
During your research time, you have the opportunity to conduct laboratory-based or clinical research with mentors within the pediatric and adult endocrine divisions and throughout Mayo Clinic.
Fellows wishing for additional training can obtain a postdoctoral master's degree or postdoctoral diploma in clinical and translational science through the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science.
Lastly, you have ample opportunities to enhance your skills as a clinician-educator by teaching medical students and residents during clinical rotations or didactic sessions and through teaching skills courses.
