International cleft education trip

During your PGY-5/6 year you will have the opportunity to join our craniofacial surgeons, Uldis Bite, M.D., and Samir Mardini, M.D., for a one-week immersive experience treating a high volume of patients with cleft lip and palate in underserved areas internationally.

This trip allows you to benefit from a supervised, structured, repetitive operative experience with your close mentors and is approved by the ACGME and American Board of Plastic Surgery. Recent trips include:
