The Radiology Informatics and Artificial Intelligence Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, offers post-residency radiologists training in a wide variety of topics that fall under a broad definition of imaging informatics, which encompasses fields including clinical radiology, information technology, physics, computer science, and engineering.

A dedicated Radiology Informatics Laboratory provides space and computing resources for innovation, a testing sandbox, and training facilities for informatics fellows. Similarly, Mayo Clinic's Biomedical Imaging Resource Core and Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences offer computing and knowledge resources that you can draw on.

Accreditation

This training program is an unaccredited one-year fellowship.

Certification

Informatics fellows are encouraged to seek formal certification as Certified Imaging Informatics Professionals (CIIPs). After successfully completing the Radiology Informatics and Artificial Intelligence Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, you are eligible to take the Imaging Informatics Professional (IIP) Certification Exam offered by the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII).
