The two-year Rheumatology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville, Florida, offers you an unmatched opportunity to become an accomplished rheumatologist. During this fellowship, you learn and practice the fundamentals of rheumatology. You also have opportunities to experience the depth and breadth of both clinical and investigative rheumatology.


The Rheumatology Fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).


Once you have successfully completed the Rheumatology Fellowship, you will be eligible to take the subspecialty examination in rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Program history

The Rheumatology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, began in 2011. It is expected that one fellow will begin this program annually.
